Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (93%), Rat (93%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63965. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Mitochondrial NAD(+) kinase that phosphorylates NAD(+) to yield NADP(+). Can use both ATP or inorganic polyphosphate as the phosphoryl donor. Also has weak NADH kinase activity in vitro; however NADH kinase activity is much weaker than the NAD(+) kinase activity and may not be relevant in vivo.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
Protein Aliases: Mitochondrial NAD kinase; NAD kinase 2, mitochondrial; NAD kinase domain-containing protein 1, mitochondrial
