This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-62589. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
This gene belongs to the chemokine-like factor gene superfamily. This family of genes encodes multi-pass membrane proteins that are similar to both the chemokine and the transmembrane 4 superfamilies of signaling molecules. Alternate transcriptional splice variants of this gene, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. Highly expressed in the brain.
