This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-54169. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
NELFB is a subunit of negative elongation factor (NELF), which also includes NELFA (WHSC2), either NELFC or NELFD (TH1L), and NELFE (RDBP), a heterodimer of SPT4 (SUPT4H1), to cause transcriptional pausing of RNA polymerase II (Narita et al., 2003).
