This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-66012. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
The adenovirus E1A protein both activates and represses gene expression to promote cellular proliferation and inhibit differentiation. CREG1 antagonizes transcriptional activation and cellular transformation by E1A. This protein shares limited sequence similarity with E1A and binds both the general transcription factor TBP and the tumor suppressor pRb in vitro.The adenovirus E1A protein both activates and represses gene expression to promote cellular proliferation and inhibit differentiation.
