Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (72%), Rat (72%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-139817. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
CQ068 is subunits of an alpha accessory factor (AAF) that stimulates the activity of DNA polymerase-alpha-primase (see MIM 176636), the enzyme that initiates DNA replication. CQ068 also appears to function in a telomere-associated complex with OBFC1 and TEN1.
