This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-140228. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases which are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving RNA binding and alteration of RNA secondary structure. DDX3Y is one member of DEAD box RNA helicases, encode by the gene locate on the chromosome Y in the azoospermia factor A region.
