This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-82085. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family which is characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. The F-box proteins constitute one of the four subunits of the ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs family, similar to F-box only protein 2 and F-box only protein 6. Four alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
