This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-56808. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
GHDC, also known as LGP1, is a GH3 domain-containing protein that is highly expressed in normal mammary tissues and mammary tumors. GHDC is primarily located in the nuclear envelope. In mouse, its gene is located on chromosome 11 adjacent to the STAT3/5 locus. Little is known of the function of this protein.
