This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-84331. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
The yeast heterotetrameric GINS complex is made up of Sld5, Psf1, Psf2, and Psf3. The formation of this complex is essential for the initiation of DNA replication in yeast and Xenopus egg extracts (Ueno et al., 2005 ). See GINS1 for additional information about the GINS complex.
