Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (91%), Rat (91%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-66448. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
GRASP (General receptor for phosphoinositides 1-associated scaffold protein) plays a role in intracellular trafficking and contributes to the macromolecular organization of group 1 metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs) at synapses, linking receptors to neuronal proteins. This protein contains conserved domains, including a leucine zipper sequence, PDZ domain and a C-terminal PDZ-binding motif.
