This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-139915. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 17 (LRRC17) is an LRR protein predominantly expressed by osteoblasts. LRRC17 acts as a negative regulator of receptor activator of NF-kappaB ligand (RANKL)-induced osteoclast differentiation. It has been reported that low plasma level of LRRC17 is an independent risk factor for osteoporotic fractures.
