This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-111123. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
M6PR is a receptor for mannose-6-phosphate groups on lysosomal enzymes. The receptor forms a homodimer or homotetramer for intracellular targeting of lysosomal enzymes and export of newly synthesized lysosomal enzymes into the cell secretions. The receptor is an integral membrane protein which localizes to the trans-Golgi reticulum, endosomes, and the plasma membrane.
