Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (45%), Rat (45%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63162. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
MGAM2 (Maltase-Glucoamylase 2 (Putative)) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are Metabolism and Galactose metabolism. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include carbohydrate binding and glucan 1,4-alpha-glucosidase activity. An important paralog of this gene is MGAM. [GeneCards]
