Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (91%), Rat (91%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-82276. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
MAP3K10 (MLK2) is a serine/threonine kinase which has been shown to activate MAPK8/JNK and MKK4/SEK1. This kinase itself can be phoshorylated, and is thus activated by JNK kinases. MAP3K10 functions preferentially on the JNK signaling pathway, and is reported to be involved in nerve growth factor (NGF) induced neuronal apoptosis.
