This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-59772. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Target Information

FAM125A, also named as MVB12A and CFBP, is a component of the ESCRT-I complex. FAM125A is required for the sorting of endocytic ubiquitinated cargos into multivesicular bodies. FAM125A has three isoforms with MW 27-28 kDa and 25 kDa.
