This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibodies, PA5-82431, PA5-52891. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Monoglyceride lipase functions together with hormone-sensitive lipase to hydrolyze intracellular triglyceride stores in adipocytes and other cells to fatty acids and glycerol. MGLL may also complement lipoprotein lipase in completing hydrolysis of monoglycerides resulting from degradation of lipoprotein triglycerides.
