Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (92%), Rat (92%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-58346. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The R3HDM2 (R3H Domain Containing 2) gene encodes a protein that contains an R3H domain, which is known to bind single-stranded nucleic acids. Located on chromosome 12, R3HDM2 has been implicated in various cellular processes, including RNA binding and regulation of gene expression. The R3H domain is characterized by the ability to recognize specific sequences or structures in RNA or DNA, suggesting that R3HDM2 may play a role in post-transcriptional regulation, mRNA processing, or DNA repair. The precise biological functions and mechanisms of R3HDM2 are still under investigation, but its potential involvement in these fundamental processes indicates its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis.
