Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (98%), Rat (98%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-65549. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
RDH10 generates all-trans retinal from all-trans retinol and may plan an important role in the photic visual cycle. All-trans retinal is isomerized to 11-cis retinal by the retinal G protein-coupled receptor (RGR; MIM 600342) when the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) is illuminated.
