Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (88%), Rat (88%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-65443. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Retinol saturase carrying out the saturation of the 13-14 double bond of all-trans-retinol to produce all-trans-13,14-dihydroretinol. Has activity toward all-trans-retinol as substrate. Does not use all-trans-retinoic acid nor 9-cis, 11-cis or 13-cis-retinol isomers as substrates. May play a role in the metabolism of vitamin A.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
