This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-60948. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
TRAP proteins are part of a complex whose function is to bind calcium to the ER membrane and thereby regulate the retention of ER resident proteins. SSR4. also called TRAPD. is assumed to be involved in protein secretion. It is located in the Xq28 region.
