This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-61034. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
TCEAL5, which is located on the X chromosome, encodes a protein which contains a BEX (brain expressed X-liked like family) domain. This domain is found in proteins encoded by the TCEAL elongation factor (transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like) gene family also located on the X chromosome. The coding region for this gene is located entirely in the terminal exon.
