This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-110697. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
TEC is a non-receptor protein-tyrosine kinase containing a pleckstrin homology domain and is highly expressed in many hematopoietic cell lines. They are also key players in the regulation of the immune functions. Tec kinase is an integral component of T cell signaling and has a distinct role in T cell activation. This gene may be associated with myelodysplastic syndrome.
