This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-62297. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
The testis and ovary specific PAZ domain containing 1 (TOPAZ1) protein is a highly conserved protein that is highly expressed in the gonads during germ cell meiosis, suggesting that it may play a role in germ cell development. It contains a PAZ domain and a zinc finger domain and is exclusively expressed in adult testis and fetal ovary.
