Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (28%), Rat (28%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-59727. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The TTC31 gene, also known as Tetratricopeptide repeat domain 31, is part of a large protein family characterized by tandem TPR motifs. These motifs are involved in mediating protein-protein interactions and are typically found in proteins implicated in various cellular processes such as cell cycle regulation, transcription, and protein transport. The TPR domain's flexibility allows TTC31 to interact with a wide array of partner proteins, contributing to its role in signaling pathways and cellular homeostasis. While specific studies about TTC31's function are limited, its structural characteristics suggest significant involvement in maintaining cellular integrity and function.
