Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (81%), Rat (81%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-66145. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
UBE1L (ubiquitin-like modifier-activating enzyme 7) activates ubiquitin by first adenylating with ATP at its C-terminal glycine residue and then linking that residue to the side chain of a cysteine residue in E1. This activation results in an ubiquitin-E1 thioester and free AMP. UBE1L also catalyzes the ISGylation of influenza A virus NS1 protein.
