Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (81%), Rat (81%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-59233. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
WDFY4, also named as C10orf64 and KIAA1607, is a huge protein with unknown functions. WDFY4 is expressed predominantly in immune tissues such as lymph nodes, the spleen, the thymus and the tonsils. According to recent genome-wide association studies (GWAS), WDFY4 was introduced as novel predisposing genes for SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) which is a heterogeneous complex relapsing-remitting autoimmune disease.
