Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (60%), Rat (60%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-54297. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
This gene encodes a protein that likely binds DNA and functions as a transcriptional regulator involved in apoptosis and cell survival. This gene resides in a susceptibility locus for autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD) on chromosome 8q24. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
