Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (52%), Rat (52%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-65841. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
ZNF136 belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. It contains 14 C2H2-type zinc fingers and 1 KRAB domain. ZNF136 may be involved in transcriptional regulation as a weak repressor when alone, or a potent one when fused with a heterologous protein containing a KRAB B-domain.
