Modular design and extensive options to create your ideal chamber.

All Thermo Scientific Environmental Chamber models are built to be dependable fixtures in your lab, giving you precise control of environmental factors. The modular design and extensive options make them even more versatile, giving you the flexibility to order a configuration that perfectly suits your application and lab environment.

Door options

Solid outer doors, with choice of glass or Lexan inner doors are available for light sensitive applications. Additional door options include door lock, left hand doors and heated doors (to prevent condensation).

Cabinet options

Choices of access ports allow for use of sensors, probes and accessory cables inside the chamber without door opening. Duplex electrical sockets inside and outside the of the chamber can be added for more convenient use of accessories like cell shakers, chart recorders and other separate equipment you may operate as part of your experiments.

Shelving options

Choose from solid stainless steel, reinforced or perforated stainless steel shelving depending on your intended use and accommodating from 150 to 600 pounds per shelf. If you are planning to use shaker systems, optional shaker support systems that utilize rubber floor mounts and reinforced shelving increase the stability and quiet operation of the chamber in your lab.

Humidity system options

Options and accessories are offered to accommodate any lab environment, even those with no available water source or existing drainage. Choose from condensate pump kits for labs with elevated drains, evaporators for labs with no available drain, carboy kits for labs without easily connected water sources, and filtration systems and cartridges for labs using untreated tap water as a source. Additional heatless dryer systems are also available to increase the humidity range below ambient relative humidity.

Lighting modules options

Vertical Light Stability Chambers and Vertical Light Reach-In Chambers come equipped with lighting modules to support a variety of lighting requirements. Choose from lighting modules designed for stability testing, plant growth, animal and insect hatching.

The light modules for light stability testing according to ICH guidelines Q1B have a combination of bulbs that address the required wavelengths, and UV light according to these guidelines.

Chart recorder accessories

A variety of chart recorders for experiment data output are offered as factory installed accessories, along with add-ons that can be installed by you at a later date. Chart recorders offered include one and two pen models, and capabilities of data charting from 7 to 31 days. Chart recorder supplies are also available.

CO2 control accessories

Should your application require tracking and control of CO2 levels inside the chamber, our Infrared CO2 Control package can be added.

Cell roller system accessories

An optional cell roll system allows extensive production of monolayer cell cultures in standard roller culture vessels. This helps improved oxygenation and exposure of the cells to the media growth area. Combined uniform temperature control and continuous, gentile rotation provided by the cell roller system create the ideal conditions to help increase culture yields.

A reinforced chamber floor, with or without ramp, is offered as an additional option to accommodate the cell roller system.

Reach-in Incubator Chamber

This Reach-in Incubator Chamber is shown with standard outer glass door and optional Thermo Scientific Cell Roller System, three-tier roller base, four add-on tiers and reinforced floor with ramp.
