Recombinant antibodies provide a high specificity, high sensitivity option all while being in vitro manufactured using synthetic genes. This is beneficial because there are fewer animal immunizations needed leading to less lot-to-lot variability. Each new lot of recombinant antibody comes straight from the same genetic source and has the same bioactivity, specificity, and quality as the previous lots. The synthetic genes used for development are also carefully controlled, allowing for optimized binding and gram scale expression. Additionally, recombinant antibody sequences can be engineered to enable higher order multiplexing or to abolish antibody directed cytotoxicity (ADCC) effector function. These engineered sequences enable lower non-specific background signals, and cleaner, more accurate results.
Our recombinant antibodies are available for many applications including ELISA, flow cytometry, ChIP, western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry.
